This is the first post in this blog so if some tenacious reader goes through all my entries this will be the last one they come to. It seems like there should be something satisfying here. At the same time this is one of the first posts adventurous browsers who read new blogs will encounter so it should be interesting.

This blog existed before. I had problems with my previous host immediately as I was signing up and (as is usually the case) immediate problems signaled long term problems. I’m not with that host anymore.

I didn’t keep a backup of my blog posts so I’m starting over. It seems like it would bother me to lose that ‘content’ but it doesn’t really. I like starting over.
